FAQ

TELL THEM THANKS The Immediate Response Team

You MUST be 18 yrs or older.

This team is designed to support troops who have been sent to us as an entire unit, often in groups of 50 or more.  Since the larger groups take a bit longer to adopt out as opposed to an individual service member who requests support, the idea is to have team members send a one-time letter to a service member knowing that within a week or so they will be adopted out to someone who can support them for the duration of their deployment.

An email will be sent to you once a week with the name & contact information for 1 or more service members, depending how many you feel you can commit to writing to on a weekly basis.

We suggest that you introduce yourself as belonging to Tell Them Thanks & a member of The Immediate Response Team.  As a gentle reminder, please be respectful & do not say anything that could be considered offensive to them.  Our goal is to shower them with support from back home while expressing our appreciation for the sacrifices that they (& their families) are making as they serve our country.

The security of our service members is vitally important!  Please remember that for security reasons, any contact information we send to you is confidential & should not be shared outside of Tell Them Thanks.

If you would like to part of this effort, please fill out the application on this page.  If you are already a member of Tell Them Thanks, you can just send an email to TellThemThanks@yahoo.com  & we'll sign you up.
